The member agencies of the Parasol Community Collaboration are committed to delivering outstanding services to our community by working together to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Each year, we ask members of the Parasol Community Collaboration to give us a list of their pressing needs and we pass them on to you. If you see a need you can fill, please contact the agencies directly. Or donors, please use Donor Central.

Providing Unique Leadership

The Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation’s vision is to change behavior; by promoting an entrepreneurial model for non-profit management through collaborative efforts which effectively utilize limited community resources and by supporting the charitable passions of informed and engaged donors.

Catalyzing Non-Profit Collaboration

We support the Parasol Community Collaboration, an association of over 50 local non-profit agencies working together to provide effective and efficient programs and services to our community through: innovative residency grants, meeting space grants, storage space grants; a 15-member AmeriCorps program; community grant programs; training workshops; and administrative staff support.

Encouraging Engaged Philanthropy

Donors – individuals, families, businesses, non-profit organizations or service groups – can count on the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation to provide a variety of charitable giving options, investment management expertise, and informed professional service as we partner in building a strong community.
