Carla Hanson Memorial Endowment:
To achieve its full potential the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation established an endowment. Income generated from investments supports the operating costs of the Donald W. Reynolds Community Nonprofit Center under-pinning the success and the support of non-profit agencies who are members of the Parasol Tahoe Community Collaboration.  The Endowment can also be used to augment grants made by the Foundation once the available income exceeds the cost of the Center. Growth of this Endowment keeps resources developing ahead of the costs of the Center and provides the prospect of grants to community nonprofits.

Parasol Operating Fund:
The Parasol Operating Fund makes grants of its own to support the foundation in its mission of encouraging local philanthropy and promoting non-profit collaboration. 

Parasol Community Fund:
The Cash Grants Fund provides a variety of grants in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Grant awards are weighted decisions which give priority to agencies who are proposing to provide new or expanding services that provide for unmet community needs. Programs are evaluated based on their impact, project merit and management strength. The Annual Sponsorship Campaign as the primary source of funding for Cash Grants.

Parasol Sponsorship:
Our generous sponsors support various Parasol programs such as:  operation of the Donald W. Reynolds Community Non-Profit Center, administration of our AmeriCorps Program and collaborative programs and services, provided by member organizations of the Parasol Community Collaboration, in the areas of education, environment, social services and the arts.
