Parasol’s Board of Directors announced two new members are joining its Emeritus Board – Dean Meiling and Hank Harris.
Dean Meiling joined Parasol’s Board of Directors in 2000 and became Chairman of the Board in 2005 and served for seven years as Chairman. He served on Parasol’s Investment Committee and on the popular community forum panel, Current Thoughts on the Economy. As a member of Parasol’s Emeritus Board he will continue with his leadership role on the Investment Committee as well as on the panel for the community forum.
“Dean has been a quiet force behind the success of Parasol,” said Claudia Andersen, CEO. “We are grateful not only for his past leadership on the board but we are very appreciative of his willingness to remain actively involved with Parasol on its Emeritus Board.”
Hank Harris joined Parasol’s Board of Directors in December of 2005. He served as Board Secretary, was Chair of the Audit Committee and on the Executive Committee. As a member of the Parasol’s Emeritus Board he will remain active in offering support to the Board of Directors as needed.
“Hank’s knowledge and experience helped guide Parasol’s Audit Committee for so many years,” said David Hardie, Chairman of the Board. “We look forward to his continued involvement.”
